Image i Interesting: Grandma's Glasses | Grandma (Cookie Clicker Classic) | Grandmapocalypse | Upgrade ![]() After all upgrades, each grandma has a cps of 104857.6 herself, not counting the bonuses from One mind, Communal brainsweep, and Elder Pact. Unlike the building before it and after it, Grandmas progress with later buildings very well with the grandma type upgrades, most of which double its efficiency but require 15 or more of a superior building to purchase, and sometimes can be quite expensive, up to 7,500,000,000,000 cookies for Rainbow Grandmas. She produces cookies at a base rate of 0.5 cookies per second. The Grandma is the main antagonist of Cookie Clicker Classic and the 1.0 Update, and the second cheapest building you can purchase with an initial cost of 100 cookies. It's a good thing.įor the same building in Cookie Clicker Classic, see Grandma (Cookie Clicker Classic). There's probably some spreadsheet that can tell you exactly when this is a good idea, but in general don't be afraid to bring about the Grandmapocalypse. This lets wrinklers form so you can get their overall bonus, but you still only get a few wrath cookies along with the normal golden cookies. You can see how this can get a little OP.Īlthough the bonuses from the grandmother upgrades past One Mind are decent and usually worthwhile, if you want to avoid wrath cookies you can stop after one mind. This means that if you leave the wrinklers running all day, you'd appear to have half as many cookies, but once you popped all 10 wrinklers you'd end up with six times as many cookies as you would have made normally. Even more awesomely, every wrinkler only steals 5%, but when you pop them you get as many cookies as all the wrinklers stole while that particular wrinkler existed. This seems like a raw deal, but the trick is that wrinklers give back 10% more than all the cookies they stole when you "pop" them by clicking on them three times. Now, wrinklers look spooky (perhaps even spoopy) and on the surface they look evil since they each steal 5% of your cookies per second, up to 10 of them siphoning off 50% of all the cookies you'd otherwise be making. The other big change is that there's now Wrinklers around your cookie. Although it's super rare, this bonus is usually enough to outweigh the loss of normal frenzies and the addition of "ruin" cookies. To put that in perspective, over the 13 seconds it normally lasts, it would give you two and half hours worth of your normal cookie production. ![]() They also have a chance to give you a 666x frenzy, called an "Elder Frenzy" which is insane. These have a chance to give you lucky cookies like before, but can also "ruin" you and steal cookies (usually much less than a lucky cookie would give, so don't worry). The main change is that, going forward, some of the golden cookies will instead be red, "wrath" cookies. It begins a new phase of the game, which is basically the same as the old one but with a few new bonuses and pitfalls. Other versions are knockoffs and not to be discussed here.
